Refresher Kit - for waxed food wraps

Give your Beeswax (or Rice Bran) food wrap a refresh with this handy Refresher kit! If your wax food wrap has seen better days or starting to struggle to stay stuck? Don’t throw it away give it a little refresh. We wish we could do the same sometimes?!

Our wax refresher kits contains:

30g (approx.) of wax blocks or Vegan

Containing our special mix of pine resin, jojoba oil and either beeswax or vegan rice bran wax

1 wooden and bristle paintbrush

It all comes in a lovely 100% Cotton Natural Wraps bag!

METHOD: All you need to do is melt the wax in an old jam jar by putting it in a saucepan of boiling water. Then lay a towel on a clean flat surface and place 1 sheet of parchment paper on top of it. Then lay the wrap you want to refresh on the parchment paper and use the brush to coat the fabric with the wax covering the whole surface. Now you need a second piece of parchment paper. Now use your iron to make sure the wax is spread evenly over the wrap.

Once you are happy with the coverage remove the top layer of paper and lift the wrap quickly as possible holding 2 corners and waft gently to speed up cooling (this happens quickly )

Any left-over wax can be left in the jam jar to cool and use again.
